I first heard this song in a commercial from Volkswagon. It shows this guy hurrying to get to his wedding, only, when he finally gets there, we find out he's not the groom. He's crashing the ceremony like that guy from "The Graduate", only without all the yelling.
Anyway, when I heard the song, I knew I was going to make an amv for it. And here it is.
I tried a couple of things in this video that I've never done before such as:
1:11 - Cut out shapes and fitting the clips inside them
1:50 - The moving rectangles utilizing the motion and transparency effects
2:15 - I was going for an old time camera shooting on each beat
2:34 - First time I used the color pass control in conjunction with the motion effect (kinda makes you seasick after awhile)

The entire amv is essentially mapping out the critical moments in the OAV from beginning to end and how I view each development. Hopefully, this comes through in the final product.
